Confused man flies to Brazil after Amazon announces interest in Banking

MANAUS, BRAZIL –  A man from the United States has mistakenly traveled to the largest metropolitan city in the Amazon Rainforest in hopes of being one of the first people to apply for Amazon Banking.

Following the breaking news of Amazon.com’s interest in entering the banking market, Max Paul boarded the first flight he could to Brazil in hopes of becoming one of their first customers.

“I love Amazon.com. I buy almost everything from them, and wanted to be one of the first people to sign up for their new banking service” Paul said.

“I always assumed that, you know, since they’re named Amazon, that they had to be based in the Amazon Rainforest. I mean, how isn’t that false advertising? It really feels like they’re misleading the public here.”

Amazon.com did not immediately respond to this journalist’s request for comment.
